Rainforest Gem

from $45.00

I chanced upon this beautiful Green Catbird while walking one day through the dense rainforest understory of one of my local rainforest reserves. I had been attracted by a chattering sound, which I soon found to be coming from this Green catbird.

I sat and watched it jumping from branch to branch in search of food, mostly hidden by leaves, until it appeared on a branch with the sunlight nicely filtering through and bringing out the sensational details on its plumage.

Truely one of the highlight birds of our North Coast Rainforest areas.
