I chanced upon this beautiful immature White-bellied Sea Eagle that had crash landed in to the dense rainforest understory.
Luckily it was un-injured and after watching it from a safe distance for a short while, it was able to make its way to a higher perch, before finding a clear way out and it flew off and down the river.
This was one of the most amazing encounters I have had with a bird of prey! I was just so lucky that I had a camera with me to capture some photos of this beautiful creature.
