About the Photographer...

I was born and raised in Western Michigan. I grew up the small town of Hudsonville on the outskirts of Grand Rapids. It was here that grew to love to the outdoors and the natural things in life.

My passion is Wildlife and Nature photography and I try to convey my passion and love of the outdoors in the photographs that I take. If I can get outdoors and into the wild I am a happy man. To get into the midst of nature and watch a scene unfold before me is much more interesting than sitting in front of the boob tube.

I continue to base my operations out of west Michigan... just a fancy way of saying that I still live here! I relish every opportunity to get up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula or out West to the Rocky Mountains... any place that offers wilderness and solitude, or a good trout stream as my other passion is fly fishing.
